Work continues on the replacement for the cantilever section of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Longtime readers have seen «Louis'» rants about the delays and cost overruns in building this bridge. More recently, it has been found that the steel used in the replacement span, imported from China, doesn't meet the metallurgical standards the engineers set for the steel. Cal Trans (California Department of Transportation), ever nimble to respond, has dispatched the repair team shown below.

A few overcast entries today including yours.
Looks like they are going to repair the bridge with a roll of gigantic duct tape.
There have been a series of TV specials on this bridge recently, all positive, of course. (Build it Bigger?) They mentioned the sections came in from China, but really glossed over and details.
