Facing the 1933 Packard is a 1939 Packard-Darrin that has been fitted with the
1941 Packard grille.

The Tenth Series Super Eight Packards debuted in January, 1933 in the midst of the Great Depression. Packard offered two Super Eight models - the 1003 in a single five-passenger sedan body on a 135" wheelbase, and the 1004 with thirteen body style options and built on a 142" wheelbase.

Only 788 of the Tenth Series Super Eight Model 1004 Packards were built. Of these 788, only 2 of these Raymond Dietrich-designed Sport Phaetons were ordered.

The Dietrich-design Packards are among the most sought after of the classic era Packards.

This magnificent Packard is on display at the Blackhawk Museum in Danville, California.

That has to be one of the best looking cars I have ever seen. The color, chrome and display are fantastic. That one is a real WOW!

But in fact lipsick or not, out here we are gonna have to get these folks on the tax books somehow, too many being paid under the table. I don't know the answer, but I hope someone comes up with it soon....

That 1933 Packard is a gorgeous machine. I like how angular and geometric it is.
