Sunday Bridges

Work continues on the problem-plagued, very late and very over-budget replacement for the cantilever section of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. California, the state that was once at the vanguard of progress, is being strangled to death at the hands of the "Progressives" who have been running it. How ironic. How sad.

LOVE THAT SHOT BUT NOT THE STORY OF THE BRIDGE. HOW RIDICULOUS!

How ever, I do hope we let him Go!!!

I do hope that the Bay Bridge is completed soon! It has been such a debacle.

good to see bridges back again - hope the Bay bridge gets done before long.

Many years ago...early 90's...I traveled across the Oakland Bridge. I believe it was the year before the earthquake that damaged it...however, I am not entirely sure. I really enjoyed my too-short stay there. We were in Santa Clara and I rented a convertible and drove over to Half Moon Bay and drove up the coast to SF...thought I was really something! Love the shot...and yes, he does have to go!

I guess the contractors continue to get paid though! Maybe it will actually get finished in our lifetime!
