Angel Island

Angel Island, once the West Coast equivalent of Ellis Island. If you look closely in the foreground, you'll see the homeless encampment on Albany Point, a real sore-point with Albany residents.
Wonderful name; I'll have to google it to see if I can discover its history. I maxed the photo and glimpsed the encampment. Wish we could do a better job of eliminating homelessness.
