Photos of San Francisco Bay, usually taken from our balcony.
LOL, Louis, I kind of like the museum. I also like its contrast with the sphinxes and how everything is surrounded by lush greenery. I know, I can have weird tastes too. ;)
Great statues but you're right about the monstrosity. :)Sydney - City and Suburbs
That face looks a lot like Charlton Heston. Coincidence?
he looks handsome, not very like the one in Egypt? You Got A Posty ~ PFFAll Little Things I Like
I love this...and I've been there. Great museum.
Strange combination of body parts. LOLI wonder where the granite originals went.
Impressive and in a lovely setting.
Oh gosh! I clicked on the link for the museum and seems weird to say the least...God bless you!Cezar
I'm in favor of restorations, even if it involves Egyptian sphinxes in California!
A fun Egyptian statue for theme day! Was King Tut walking around there, too?
Louis remembered 'theme day'. I did not! I really like your statue posted. MB
An interesting statue. Nice choice for the theme day!
very interesting statue. i like these type of statues
What haven't you got in SF?
Wow. THe sphinx's face kind of looks like that blue guy on Avatar! Great theme day photo :)
It’s an interesting statue – it looks to me as a statue made for an Hollywood movie, that type of thing.
Weird looking pussycat. Someone break her nose please, would look much better.
Certainly not a traditional looking sphinx. I agree with BSquared that it looks a little like Moses, er I mean Charlton Heston.
