Guest Photographer: "Redwood": Santa Cruz Wharf

Santa Cruz is north of Monterey, where "Redwood" snapped yesterday's image.Its famous boardwalk is a favorite place for Bay Area young people in the summer.

I'm always amazed by the construction of wharves...how did they get all those giant wooden posts firmly stuck in place under the water?

I actually took Santa Cruz into consideration as a place to move to some while back, I hear it's the perfect place to live. I visited this summer and the crowds in the boardwalk area scared us away...
