Chez la Vache vue de la Mount Tamalpais

Chez la Vache seen from Mount Tamalpais

Clic sur l'image pour l'agrandir

Albany Hill, and the towers of the complex housing Chez la Vache along the east shore of San Francisco Bay seem very small when viewed from the slopes of Mount Tamalpais. The mountain in the distance is Mount Diablo. Eyes attuned to East Bay landmarks will also spot the campus of the University of California, Berkeley and the Claremont Hotel. The floating dock in the left of the image is where tankers bringing oil to the Chevron Richmond refinery unload.

Very dramatic. One has to embiggen it to get the full impact, though. So that's where you live, you lucky cow, you!

Hope your new year is starting off well and will get better as the days go by!
