The Bay Area is blessed with a very moderate climate - one key reason so many pay so dearly to live here. The year-round median temperature for the cities surrounding the Bay is 65º. But the last few days have been HOT - and this particular day was BLINDING HOT as witnessed by the glare of the sun on the Bay. The photo is unaltered in any way and was taken at 1600 hrs.

If it's any help, it was a wonderfully brisk 48 degrees Fahrenheit here at 7 o'clock this morning. I didn't mind the temperature, but the breezy made it a bit nippy.
