«Louis la Vache's» Café-Saint-Honoré had a Bastille Day celebration featuring live French music, dancing and a marvelous Gâteau-Saint-Honoré made for the café by local Pâtissier Brian. The café was packed and a everyone had a fine time. Many thanks to Jerry for assembling the musicians, getting the music and bringing this fête to fruition!

Oh thank goodness your blog finally loaded! I don't know if it's Blogger or our internet connection at home, but I've been having such a hard time visiting. And not just yours :(

Your café's celebration looks like so much fun! I would have loved to watch the dancers. Congratulations! Everyone seems to have enjoyed themselves!

It must have been fun at this café! My celebration of le quatorze juillet was writing a post about it because I don’t know any French people here, just a bakery. You can see my post on la fête nationale on my blog at http://avagabonde.blogspot.com/.

Thanks for directing me to your dancing. Love it. Love the idea of a cafe celebrating Bastille Day, yet not in France.
